It is out of the hotel, on the beach, under the green shadow of grape leaves (or sth similar :) ). Complex has nice restaurant as well where you can eat fresh fish and tasty local dishes every day. It is few minutes of walking distance from the city centre towards Ksamil, whereas beach is clean and really nicely arranged, with sun beads and coffee bar. Having in mind that it is not possible to combine both - stay in the centre of beautiful city of Sarande and to have good beach, I think that the best of this hotel is combination of location and beach. I stayed there 2 days only, but I enjoyed a lot. I was in Hotel Maestral during August last year, visiting some cousins who are staying there last few years and I was rally pleasantly surprised. It was kind of pricey but well worth it considering how comfortable we felt here. The one night cost us 80 Euros - Apparently it was 60 but there was a 10 Euro upcharge for each additional person. The breakfast buffet was basic, but generous - Yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, sliced meats, vegetables, fruits, sliced bread, jams, coffee and tea, juice and milk, etc.

The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, and complimentary breakfast. The beach here is small but the water is clean - There is a designated area for hotel guests. I didn't eat here so I cannot comment on the food. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area - The hotel also has a restaurant and bar on it's beach.They offer traditional Albanian food. It was perfect for us because we did not want to be in the hustle and bustle - but the city promenade was only a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is situated on the road towards Ksamil, away from the city center. There were plenty terraces where you can overlook the sea or the city. The hotel itself was immaculate - very clean and airy. That what makes these hotels and region so charming. Don't expect fancy amenities that you may find at many of the larger hotel brands. Before visiting hotels in this region, you must understand that you are only provided with the basic necessities. We also had a mini-fridge which we stocked with water. We had a wonderful balcony with panoramic views overlooking Corfu, the beach below, and the city center. There was AC which was a major selling point - This time of year can be brutal. There were two single beds and a double bed. There were 4 of us in 1 room - and it was plenty spacious. My family and I spent one night at this hotel and we left wishing we had more time to spend there.
